1. Information We Collect

Important: No Database Storage: We do NOT have a database. All uploaded files (images, audio, PDFs) are processed temporarily and disappear immediately when you refresh the page. We cannot recover your files once they're gone.

Account Information: Account creation and authentication is handled entirely by Clerk. We do not collect or store your email address or profile information - this is managed by Clerk's secure infrastructure.

Usage Analytics: We use two analytics providers:

PostHog: Usage data for UX improvement (pageviews, interactions, device info, session replay)
SimpleAnalytics: Anonymous visitor statistics (GDPR compliant, no personal data collected) - view dashboard

Live Chat: We use Ably for live chat functionality. Chat messages are stored pseudonymously for 1 day to handle disconnections, then automatically deleted.

Temporary Content Processing: When you upload files or enter prompts for AI processing, they are:

Sent to AI APIs for processing (see their respective terms)
NOT stored on our servers
Used only for generating your requested AI output

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve our AI tools and services
To process your uploads and generate AI responses
To manage your account and subscription
To analyze usage patterns and improve user experience
To send important service updates and notifications
To provide customer support

3. Data Processing and Storage

AI Processing: Your uploaded files are sent to AI APIs for processing. We do NOT store these files - they are processed temporarily and disappear when you refresh the page.

Data Retention: Since we don't have a database, data retention is minimal:

Account data: Stored by Clerk until you delete your account
PostHog analytics: Standard retention per their policy
SimpleAnalytics: Up to 90 days for backups (no personal data)
Ably chat: 1 day, then automatically deleted
Uploaded files: Zero storage - gone when you refresh
Generated content: Not stored - disappears when you refresh

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, rent your personal information, or train AI models with your data. We share data only with these service providers:

Clerk: Authentication and payment processing
PostHog: Usage analytics for UX improvement (including session replay)
SimpleAnalytics: Anonymous visitor statistics (GDPR compliant) - dashboard
Ably: Live chat functionality (1-day pseudonymous storage)
Pollinations: AI processing of uploaded files (see their terms)

We may also disclose information to comply with legal obligations or protect our rights, in case of business transfer (with proper notice), or with your explicit consent.

5. Your Rights and Choices

General Rights:

Access: Request a copy of your personal data
Correction: Update or correct your information
Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
Portability: Request your data in a portable format
Opt-out: Disable analytics tracking (may affect functionality)

EU/UK Users (GDPR): Under GDPR, you have additional rights including:

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that would significantly affect you. Our AI tools process uploaded content to generate outputs, but these do not make decisions about you as an individual.
